Mother Nature

So I was rummaging through some old photos, and I came across some I took on my 6th grade trip to Big Bear for science camp. Going through these photos made me remember what a horrible time I had on that trip- it was my first time away from my mom and I realized then and there that I was a mama's girl. I missed her and my family so much and I wanted to go home as soon as possible. They only gave us breakfast and dinner, which left me hungry for half the day and I remember my bed had a couple blood stains and some brown spots and I got so scared that someone got shot there. I

If I went back now, I would definitely appreciate it more and actually take in the scenery and that I am at the heart of nature. Also, I've become less of a mama's girl which is good, so now I can go places without missing them so much as I used too. Maybe one day I'll go back with friends and hike around. If you live in California and haven't been to Big Bear- what have you been doing? It's seriously so beautiful up there and I highly recommend a trip up there.

Beach beach, lets go get away

This past weekend, my mom had rented a beach house as a birthday gift to herself. Normally I don't like beaches-wet sand, weather gets my hair all gross, and worst of all: the youth having fun with their huge group of friends (you know that group of teenagers that take selfies and hug and laugh and uGH). When I went, it wasn't how I expected. The beach was completely empty, and it was the gloomiest I've ever seen it. And I have to say, it was quite beautiful. I mostly sat on the patio and read books until a child started to give me a withering stare-I left soon after. We only stayed there one night because my mom couldn't stand sleeping there and it was way too cold, but I wouldn't have minded. These are some pics I took.

How to Style Band Shirts!

So recently, I've been buying a lot of band-tees, cause you know music rocks (get it-rocks as in rock music, I'm so hilarious), and I never really know how to pair it up so I made a couple of sets to help myself and hopefully others who have the same situation. Hope you enjoy! xx

Untitled #214

The first outfit is actually what I wore today! Nirvana is my top 5 favorite bands so I decided to go for that grungy feel-pairing it with a pleather army jacket and ripped black jeans; and since I'm too poor to afford an Alexa bag, I substituted it with my backpack since I was going to school haha. Also since I was going to school, I just paired it up with military boots but I would have much rather paired it up with these edgy ones from Topshop.

Untitled #215

If you're a One Direction fan, than you're most likely a 5SOS fan too. They're hilarious, cute, and Australian-how much better can that get?! Seriously if you haven't heard of them, I suggest you check them out NOW. But back to the outfit, As I was thinking of 5SOS, I tried to click in with their taste in clothes which is kind of 'lazy grunge' I guess? So I paired up their merch shirt with some ripped jeans and threw on a beanie and some lace up brogue boots.

Untitled #216

Styx is one of my favorite 80's groups. Their music video 'Too Much Time on My Hands' is so funny and I just love them so much. I went for a more clean version with this shirt. I paired this baseball concert tee with some dark blue jeans and some white vans for a more daytime look.

Untitled #217

This outfit just automatically makes me think of shaking your head back and forth and not giving a flyin crap about anything-i don't know why haha. Just seeing an Aerosmith shirt with dark wash highwaisted shorts and converse just says, 'Yeah, I don't care bro whatevs' Idk..

Untitled #218

Now The Eagles are kind of my all time favorite group. They're songs are the definition of California and to show how lame I was/am, I did a report on them in 4th grade and on my senior essay project as my music inspiration (Im a dork). But this outfit says cool & calm yet still a lover of great rock music.

VidCon!

Oh my gosh, the moment I've been waiting for all year has arrived: Vidcon. Unlike normal teenagers, I dedicate my time to my computer, more specifically Youtube. This is where I can laugh at peoples jokes and humor and learn more and become more interested in beauty products and fashion buys and all that galore. As soon as I found out who was going to Vidcon (every youtuber i subscribe too ASDFAJ) I just had to go, especially when ITS ONLY FUCKING 15 MINUTES AWAY FROM MY HOUSE!!! Unfortunately since I don't have a job and my parents are strict, I could not afford tickets this year, which is why I had planned on sitting at the convention center lobby to wait for any youtuber who happened to pop by (my heart was set on dan and phil and dailygrace). Me and my friend arrived there and walked from hotel to hotel to convention center and just made a big circle for the next 4 hours. We were unsuccessful. We both knew we wouldn't see any youtubers but just being there was fun enough (:

This is me and my friend Gracefacing (like one does when they go to vidcon)
This is me very excited to arrive at Vidcon haha.

We also stopped at the Hilton Hotel where they had the Monsters University picture thing (AKA JOE SUGG TOOK AN INSTAGRAM PHOTO THE DAY BEFORE), and being the freak that I am, I've never seen Monsters Inc so I can say that Sully (I think thats his name) scared the shit out of me)

So even though it was an unsuccessful day, it was a day well spent. We met new people, even started to vlog which I might put up on  youtube if I feel confident enough.. I might go tomorrow alone at the
right time since today we went late. Hopefully I will!

Traveling | San Francisco

Hey! Long time no speak on this thingamabob :3 and I have a good reason; I took my very first adult free vacation to San Francisco *applause*. So my first experience in an airport without my parents wasn't the best because I was taken to a special room where security would pat me down because apparently I had something on my clothes that resembled explosives T.T so after that hubabaloo, we finally got on the plane and took off ^_^ ooh look at that pretty view  *w*

we landed in San Jose where we took a shuttle to our hotel, The Fairmont. When we got there, I encountered more trouble because airport security took my only ID so I was left arguing with the staff until I showed them my papers to prove I was the real me and they finally let me in my room <.< After relaxing after being emotionally stressed all morning, we left for Market St to shop around and eat and than came home and passed out. I forgot to take pictures of our room but this was the outdoor garden area, and thats me pondering the meaning of life whilst looking out the window dramatically, as all people do when they see a old fashioned window.

The next day, we had planned out so we started out by going to the Cartoon Art Museum on Mission St. and it was surprisingly interesting- I was thinking, oh this is just going to be a bunch of anime drawings and such but it was old newspapers funnys and comic book stuff (: After that we walked down an outdoor/indoor mall where I saw these cute kawaii vases ^^

Than after that, we went on the most famous tourist spot in the world- The Golden Gate Bridge. One thing I can say is oh my god it is freakin cold!! Being used to SoCal weather, I just wore a thin sweater and jeans but I regret not dressing up like an eskimo It was so foggy and cloudy, you could barely see what was in front of you while walking on the sidewalk.

Eventually we got scared that we might not ever return after walking for 20 minutes so we came back in search of human civilization. We succeeded. To treat ourselves to a very tiring walk, we came across a small macaroon shop at the Market St. mall and bough ourselves some lovely and delicious french pastries
After walking around the mall, I spotted a familar store I used to love and I soon fell in love with it again because of these KAWAII  LLAMAS  ´ ▽ ` )οΎ‰
After that we traveled through China town and got some Bubz beauty inspired facial products ^_^
The next day was probably the best day which was when we went to Pier 39. OH my gosh, that is the funnest place ever. There are so many shops and food stands and fun houses and its just a great kid place (and im a kid so I obviously loved it). I got 2 churros, a bag of donuts, a cheese filled pretzel and a snickers. I was very happy.

We saw the pier and the Alcatraz and it was the most relaxing day. After that we went on a double decker bus and took a tour all around Sf so we  wouldn't have to walk anymore. May I saw it was on of the best decisions ever because it was so incredibly cool!!

We pretty much saw everything from City Hall, to the Full House house, the Mrs. Doubt fire house, Haight and Ashbury, Golden Gate Bridge, Market St, Union St, etc. We got off at Union St. to shop at all the little boutiques and to go to a burger place we've heard loads about-Umami Burger.

It was a very delicious burger but I can't say that it's better than The Counter burgers I've had because those are delicious! After we took a taxi to Embarcadero St. and walked around the pier and saw the Bay Bridge light up at night which was super pretty!

I just got back today so overall I give my trip a 9/10 ((: I love San Francisco and I plan on living there after community college to hopefully go to Berkley or Davis<3 Im gonna head off now, I'm so excited to sleep in my own bed again ^_^ Goodnight or Good morning- wherever you are (:
